Shallotte, NC — ATMC has presented $2,000 scholarships to four local high school seniors: Kaylee Potter, Miranda Sibbett, Cody Lowe and Kayla Miller. Applicants were interviewed by representatives from Brunswick Community College. Selection was based on academics, involvement in school and community activities and interview skills.
Kaylee Potter, daughter of Travis and Jennifer Potter of Winnabow, NC, is a senior at South Brunswick High School and plans to attend East Carolina University, where she will major in Nursing. South Columbus High School graduating senior, Miranda Sibbett is the daughter of Greg and Angela Sibbett of Whiteville, NC. Miranda plans to attend Catawba University and major in Theatre. Cody Lowe, a West Brunswick High School senior, is the son of Julie Lowe of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, and will attend Brunswick Community College, where he will study Turf Grass Management. West Brunswick High School graduating senior, Kayla Miller is the daughter of Art and Carrie Miller of Ash, NC. Kayla plans to attend Pfieffer University, where she will major in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
