Sunset Beach, NC – This summer promises to be an exciting one as it marks 50 years since the first humans walked on the moon in the Apollo 11 mission. Ingram Planetarium will be celebrating this achievement all through the summer with a new full dome program, Apollo 11: Man’s First Step on the Moon, at 12pm Monday through Thursday, and Saturday.
In addition to this exciting and informative look into the history of our space program, Ingram Planetarium is also playing a new full dome feature, The Sun: Our Living Star at 2pm Monday through Saturday and offering hands-on science experiences every Thursday at 12:15 and 2:15 through a new program called Budding Scientist Mini Labs in the Paul Dennis Science Hall.
Back by demand, the popular Kaluoka’Hina will return this summer at 11am Monday through Thursday and Saturday.
