Wilmington, NC – Lower Cape Fear Hospice will host a free workshop with information about healthy coping mechanisms, including chair meditation and yoga practices, at Wilmington Yoga on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Whether it’s from everyday life or related to the loss of someone special, everyone has stress in his or her life. The Got Stress? Come Unwind workshop will focus on the importance of self-care and healthy ways to deal with stress, in addition to information about grief support programs Lower Cape Fear Hospice (LCFH) offers to anyone in the community grieving the loss of someone special.
It will also include chair yoga and meditation led by Caity Ward, a discussion about self-care and healthy ways to deal with stress led by LCFH Healing Arts Coordinator Lorraine Perry, and holiday specials offered by Wilmington Yoga.
The event will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. at Wilmington Yoga, 5329 Oleander Drive Suite 200.
The workshop is free, but space is limited and registration is required. RSVP to Jennifer Jordan at 910-523-9792 or Jennifer.jordan@lcfh.org.
