Ocean Isle Beach – The Museum of Coastal Carolina has a new interactive exhibit this summer called Draw Alive! This fun exhibit will entertain children and adults of all ages. The Draw Alive! experience is included with regular museum admission. Draw Alive! lets children and adults color their own unique sea creatures and then watch them come alive as they swim and interact with others on a giant wall-sized virtual aquarium. Here’s how it works: Each unique, colorful, hand-colored sea creature is scanned and then magically appears to come to life in the virtual “ocean” displayed on the wall. Watch as the one-of-a-kind sea creatures swim and interact with others as they move through the ocean. Draw Alive! was created by Breeze Creative, a company that specializes in interactive designs using virtual elements.
The new Draw Alive! exhibit can be found downstairs in the Museum’s Barrier Island Gallery. The beautiful new ocean mural on the gallery’s walls was created by local artists Sharon Bowling and Rozanne Anderson.
