Ocean Isle Beach, NC – The Museum of Coastal Carolina continues its popular Sandbar Lecture Series at 6:00 PM on November 12 with a program called What Kind of Fish is That, Mister? featuring Capt. Jacob Frick of the Ocean Isle Fishing Center.
Capt. Frick has over 10 years of experience saltwater fishing in the backwater surrounding Ocean Isle Beach. His specialty is light tackle inshore fishing for trout, red drum, black drum, and flounder, but he also enjoys fishing for blues, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, false albacore, and black sea bass. Capt. Frick is passionate about fishing; if he could, he says he would like to “catch every fish in the ocean.”
Capt. Frick is a U.S. Coast Guard certified Master Captain. He is also certified in CPR and First Aid. He leads fishing charters out of the Ocean Isle Fishing Center.
The Museum of Coastal Carolina is located at 21 East Second Street, Ocean Isle Beach, NC.
