Ocean Isle Beach, NC – July 23rd nd , at 6 pm, the Museum of Coastal Carolina features the film “Living in the Future’s Past”, presented by Terry Bryant.
Terry Bryant has served as the Executive Director of the Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium since July of 2012. She retired with the state of North Carolina serving in the field of education and retiring after seven years at the NC Aquarium of Fort Fisher. During this film, join Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges, as he guides us on a journey into the heart of human nature and explores how our species operates in an inescapably interconnected world.
Featuring experts from across cultures, scientific disciplines, and political philosophies, “Living in the Future’s Past” contextualizes our modern predicament within a geologic time frame. This film has won the following prestigious awards, 1st Place on the International Nature Film Festival Scientific Documentaries – Godolo International Film Festival, Gold Medal: Best Documentary on Climate Change and Sustainability – New York Film Festival; and many, many more prestigious awards. Terry will be showing this awe inspiring film to try to educate and instill some influence where we can make a difference in our future.
