Women In Business Shopping Event
Join the Brunswick County Chamber Women in Business Committee for a fun afternoon of shopping, networking, and supporting a local business.
On Tuesday, August 4, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we’re taking over Southernista Boutique in the Publix Shopping Center in Ocean Isle Beach for a casual drop-in event that’s open to everyone. Stop by when it’s convenient for you, browse the latest styles, connect with other local women, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon together.
As a special thank you, Southernista is offering 20% off your entire purchase all day, with your savings listed as “Chamber Love” on your receipt.

Volunteers Needed for the NC Oyster Festival
The North Carolina Oyster Festival wouldn’t be possible without the incredible volunteers who help make it a success each year. If you’re looking for a fun way to get involved in the community, meet new people, and be part of one of Brunswick County’s signature events, we’d love to have you on the team.
A variety of volunteer opportunities are available, making it easy to find a role that fits your schedule and interests. Every volunteer plays an important part in creating a memorable experience for the thousands of visitors who attend the festival each year.

Ambassador Spotlight
This month’s Ambassador Spotlight shines on Regina Lowry with Autumn Care of Shallotte.
For nearly 30 years, Regina has served as Life Enrichment Director at Autumn Care of Shallotte, dedicating her time to improving lives and creating meaningful connections within the community. She has also been a proud Brunswick County Chamber Ambassador for more than 16 years, always showing up to support local businesses, welcome new members, and give back to the community she loves.
Her kindness, dedication, and passion for helping others make her such a valued part of our Ambassador team and the Brunswick County community.
Brunsco Classic Golf Tournament
The Brunsco Classic Golf Tournament is almost here, and we’re looking forward to another great day of golf, networking, and community support at Sea Trail Golf Resort on Friday, August 28, presented by Makai Brewing.
There are still several ways to get involved. We’re currently looking for volunteers to help throughout the day and are also accepting raffle prize donations for our popular Putting Challenge, sponsored by Edward Jones – Jeremy Johnson. Suggested donations include gift baskets, gift cards, golf accessories, experience packages, or other items valued at $75 or more.
Businesses that donate raffle prizes will be recognized for their support, and every contribution helps create a memorable tournament while supporting the Chamber and our local business community.
