Suds of Love Donation Drop-Off

Suds of Love donation drop-off

The Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce is now a designated, ongoing donation drop-off location for Suds of Love Truck, a local nonprofit providing free laundry services, showers, hygiene supplies, and other basic necessities to unhoused and underserved neighbors throughout our community.

With school back in session, Suds of Love is seeing an increased need for everyday essentials. If you’re able to add an item or two to your next shopping trip, every donation can make a difference.

Items Being Collected:

Laundry detergent • Dryer sheets • Towels & washcloths • Full-size body wash • Full-size shampoo & conditioner • Toothpaste & toothbrushes • Full-size deodorant • Full-size lotion • Feminine hygiene products (panty liners & pads) • New socks

Donation Drop-Off:

Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce
112 Pine Street
Shallotte, NC 28470

Donations can be dropped off anytime. If the office is closed, simply place your items in the gray bin labeled “Donation Drop-Off.”

There is no deadline to donate, and we’re proud to serve as an ongoing collection location to help Suds of Love continue supporting neighbors throughout Brunswick County.

Women in Business Save the Dates

2026 Women in Business save-the-date schedule

Mark your calendars for the remaining 2026 Women in Business events. Each gathering is designed to bring women together through networking, professional development, and meaningful connections within our business community.

Whether you’re joining us for a monthly meeting, our shopping event, a featured speaker, or the Women of Impact Awards, we hope you’ll save these dates and be part of another great year of Women in Business.

The Women in Business program is proudly supported by our Program Sponsors, First Bank and Novant Health.

NC Oyster Festival

North Carolina Oyster Festival

Mark your calendars! The 45th Annual North Carolina Oyster Festival returns to Ocean Isle Beach, October 16–18, 2026, for another unforgettable weekend of live music, delicious food, shopping, family activities, and community fun. The weekend kicks off with Community Night on Friday, October 16, from 6:00–8:00 PM, featuring live music by The Sea Cruz Band.

As we prepare for one of Brunswick County’s largest annual events, there are several ways to get involved. We’re currently looking for volunteers to help throughout the festival, and businesses are invited to become Banner Sponsors, giving their brand high-visibility exposure to thousands of festival attendees while supporting this long-standing community tradition.
