Keynote Women of Impact Speaker:
Stefanie Adams: Founder and Chief Empowerment Officer
Stefanie Adams is a facilitator, keynote speaker, educator, former elected official, adjunct university instructor entrepreneur, wife, and mother; for those who know her best, she is “Cheerleader Stef”, which personifies her personality and leadership style. She has over 20 years experience leading and training in corporate, non-profit, and government settings. She earned an M.Ed. in Multicultural Education in 2008, and her professional affiliations include the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Lower Cape Fear HR Association (LCFHRA), and she is a certified Forte Communication Coach.
Women in Business has developed the Women of Impact Brunch in an effort to champion women from diverse backgrounds and industries to ensure their achievements become part of the fabric of our community.

The Women of Impact Brunch welcomes and celebrates the women in our community and invite all to attend the Brunch. The Women In Business Committee is requesting feedback in the categories of Woman of the Year and Rookie of the Year.
Woman of the Year Award:
Nomination Requirements
The 2024 Woman of the Year nominee must be an established, local woman in business 5 years plus+, who strives to inspire and support the professional and personal growth of women in the workplace. She must be a member in good standing with the chamber, either as an individual, company, or organization.
In your nomination:
- Tell us about your nominee: Name, business name or place of employment, job title, years of service, career path, achievements, awards
- How has the nominee made an impact in the community? Do they volunteer?
- Describe their leadership, drive, motivation, innovation, community involvement, forward-thinking attitude
Rookie of the Year Award:

The 2024 Rookie of the Year nominee must a local woman who has been working in a business less than 5 years who strives to inspire and support the professional and personal growth of women in the workplace. She must be a member in good standing with the chamber, either as an individual, company, or organization.
